Motivational Interviewing, Implementation Science and Leadership Development
Cara has spent most of her life finding opportunities to serve people and help them grow in their own space and time. She has served the State of Colorado in this endeavor for 30 years and has been helping people find space and strength to grow over the years in the Criminal Justice Field. Cara developed a wealth of expertise in the realm of criminal justice. Beginning as a probation officer, she honed her skills supervising both adult and juvenile offenders, navigating the complexities of rehabilitation and reintegration.
In the role of an Implementation Specialist, she had the privilege of sharing her knowledge with fellow criminal justice professionals. Through training sessions focused on Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based practices (EBPs), she's contributed to the continuous improvement of her field, empowering practitioners with effective tools and strategies. Cara has shared her knowledge and experience with others in the human services field, medical and those in leadership roles. Cara is a Level 1 Certified Implementation Support Specialist with TCI and a proud member of MINT since 2014, she remains committed to driving positive change.
